After my post on Blog Spam part 2 – The Nofollow, friend or enemy? I’ve decided that the nofollow is no friend of mine.
The nofollow has been removed from my blog now, bye bye. All links should count now in the eyes Google.
Word of caution – people who try to spam me will be posted about in public.
That seems fair, doesn’t it?

Nice. I tried to do the same thing on my blog a few weeks ago, but gave up after about a half hour of messing around with movable type. You’ve inspired me to go back and give it another shot.
Does anyone know how to insert an image into a post? Even just a tiny one?
I totally agree with you Jim. Today it seems that almost every blog around use the nofollow tag and it is really a bad habit everyone have added.
Nice Jim, I found that after a while I totally gave up and disabled comments. Even with the no-follow on, they still bothered comment spamming me.
Good Call Jim – they do nothing to prevent blog spam.
I think if someone takes the time to comment in my blog they should be rewarded with a little link love.
A link to me is not the ONLY reason I am writing this… but I do have to admit it is a contributing factor…
I agree with your decision – best of luck in keeping the spam out.
Does anybody knows a tool to detect nofollow directive…even a list of blogs with nofollow directive???
